Dr. Cindy Chan

Dr. Cindy provides psychological services for adult, elderly, and couple. Dr. Cindy has more than 20 years of clinical experience in psychological assessment and treatment for different kinds of psychological issues and mental disorders.  Her treatment approach is holistic and person-based.  Dr. Cindy is also experienced in conducting forensic psychological assessment for the court. She also offers services in coaching and corporate training for individuals and companies in various areas, such as emotional intelligence, mindful leadership and achieving sustainable change in life and work.  Dr. Cindy is a registered Clinical Psychologist in the Division of Clinical Psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. She is the member of Register of Clinical Psychologists accredited by Department of Health of HKSAR Government. Dr. Cindy is also a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society. She is a mindfulness teacher who completed level 1 to 4 training by the UK Oxford Mindfulness Centre.  She is also a trainer in Workplace Mindfulness Training (WorkplaceMT) who completed a trainer training program recognised by the UK Chartered Management Institute.

Dr. Cindy is a Registered Clinical Psychologist of the Division of Clinical Psychology of Hong Kong Psychological Society (DCP, HKPS), who provides psychological services for adult, elderly and couple. She is an Associate Fellow of HKPS and past Vice Chairperson of DCP, HKPS.   She is the member of Register of Clinical Psychologists accredited by Department of Health of HKSAR Government. Dr. Cindy is also a Chartered Psychologist of the British Psychological Society. Dr. Cindy graduated at the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree, major in Psychology in 1994.  To further pursue her study, she completed a diploma program at the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Canada.  She also obtained a Master of Social Sciences (Clinical Psychology) degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Doctorate degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Hong Kong.

Miss Lap Chow graduated from Hong Kong Shue Yan University with a Bachelor of Social Science in Counselling and Psychology degree. She also completed the Advanced Certification in Life Coaching in HKU SPACE. Apart from being an Administrative Assistant to Dr. Cindy Chan, she is also a coach dedicated to promote mental health and improve well-being with a holistic approach incorporating knowledge in professional counselling and psychology. Her philosophy is based on knowledge in counselling and psychology, and integrated with coaching concepts and skills. She hopes that people can make good use of their virtues and potential to overcome different challenges in life.
